Fire Pits and the Paranormal - A True Crucible?

Where else would humankind have begun their exploration and education into the paranormal than around a fire pit? The fire pit was the first convergence and crucible for early man; they ate, warmed themselves, sang, told stories, and prayed to their Gods around the fire pit.

Imagine this: Tribal men huddled around their fire, watching over their animals, protecting them from hunters, both human and animal. The need for sleep gnaws at them, but they mustn't surrender to it; their very lives depend upon their herd. What do the men do to stay awake? They talk, of course. They tell stories.

Elves depicted in the folklores as diminutive creatures are assumed to live underground in hills or rocks, or in wells and springs. Different cultures have identified elves as dream creatures, minor gods, imaginary beings, nature spirits and souls of the dead. Like humans, elves carry both positive and negative traits in their absolute personality. They can be Santa helpers in Santa's toyshop or mischievous beings playing pranks on Noddy in toy land.

UFO's have been recorded as having visited the Earth since ancient times, to present, with more and more encounters with these crafts as well as the occupants reported every day from around the world. Some of the ancient reports include: "Readings of the papyrus annals of Pharaoh Thutmoss III (1600 BC) mentions circles of fire in the sky.

Ghosts are probably the most known paranormal phenomenon with the UFO category gaining on it everyday. While it's hard to understand or know why a ghost is somewhere or haunting a location, I think it's easier to figure out what it is than what business the entity might have.
