Yes! kjwriteleft.com is finally getting a full overhaul and tune up when we move the site to joomla 1.6. The site currently operates on Joomla (an earlier version) and has had many things built into it, customised, etc etc so much so I can't remember exactly what I still need on the site. I will still of course have all of the same great content from this site, it will just move to a prettier and more functional home.

Well the new year has already lost a month and the site is well on the way to averaging a thousand visitors a day. I have been looking forward to starting the new fresh and ready to do something new and the completion of the "Then I Passed" series has certainly gone a long way to doing that. So the big news on the site is the massive amount of photography and poetry now available.

Well it is that time of year again and Santa is on his way so I wanted to take the time to thank all of you for visiting the site throughout the year of our Lord 2010. It has been a big year and the site has grown beyond my own expectations and should become part of a fulltime project of mine in 2011. This year has seen my first book published (Scents Sand Censor Billy Tea) as well as some great new series like "Elemental" and "Then I Passed" which has made me decide to pursue my photography as I have in the past.

Yes, the site has now begun a youtube channel devoted to site news as well as poetry readings (by me) of the poetry on the site. Currently I am reading from my book "Scents Sand Censor Billy Tea" and getting used to being in front of a camera.

I will hopefully be discussing the site and what I do as well as writing tips and ideas. The youtube videos are quite relaxed and just a chance to read some of the poetry out loud instead of just seeing it on the web.
