As I have mentioned in my blog I have just launched a new website and blog which revolves around getaways from Sydney as well as short stays in Sydney. The posts so far cover a lot of topics including city life versus country life and is a great place to comment on your opinions of city and country life. I will be working on this site in the coming weeks to bring it right up to speed with all of my other sites that I hope you enjoy.

The site is free to view and we welcome comments and would love to hear from anyone who has moved from Sydney or in the process of moving from Sydney. Keep an eye out for two more new websites coming soon as well.

If you are looking to get some inspiration for your writing or connect with other writers then One Stop Poetry has some great articles and interactive posts. The blog has a great community behind it and a great team of writers and is a wonderful way for poets in particular to connect online.

Trade in your Name and Network!

After using Empireavenue.com on the recommendation of a friend I was pleased with how well it allows you to connect all of those social networks as well as keep track of which sites you are neglecting. After joining this site I also joined flikr.com to add to my listings worth. It appears to work by gauging your social network input and adjusting your share price accordingly. My own is at about 16 in the sites currency.

New Blog: "The Gift Economy"

Gift Economy

I have just started (in conjunction with my design site) a new blog called "The Gift Economy" which revolves around giving for the sake of giving. It will be a discussion and a sharing of ideas. I have made the new blog on "blogger" and we'll call that a gift from Google, just to show that great big companies can afford to give too! I have added some information on my design site as well so hopefully you can learn with me as I play around with the concept of 'gifting'.

A Worthwhile Blog - Helping in Uganda

The Coat of arms of Uganda

Image via Wikipedia

A friend of mine recently went away with her university (or do they call it college?) to Uganda to help patients t a hospital. I have not a chance to mention this blog but wish you all to have a visit and see people doing good things. The blog is written by the students on the trip so it gives great insight. I just wanted to say good luck Leah, someone I knew way back in Korea, well done with the study princess! To everyone else please take a look at the blog and show your support by commenting on the blog.
