Many blog writers rely on stale 'top ten' articles to draw in readers, writing out a few words and filling out the rest of the article with a list of their top choices. While this seems like a good idea to gain readership you will find that many top ten articles are quite padded out with items. While academic writing and feature article writing for traditional media may require large amounts of writing the digital realm requires shorter and snappier pieces for its readers. If you are writing for the internet you need to think about how you read online as well. Do you spend a long time reading long winded articles or do you browse through reading bits and pieces.
