As a work in progress a novel is a great thing to share. I have been working on this novel for some time in the planning stages and since it has entered the actual writing phase I wanted to share a tiny piece of it with all of you supportive people who view my website. Many of you know me for my poetic work and some may know me for my article work. Not many of you will know me for my short fiction work.

I take writing very seriously and am of the point of view that it is a very organic process. There is no such thing as writers block, it is just that you may not have something to say or what you do have to say has not come to fruition just yet. I make this point very clear because too many people try to force themselves to write while I and many others actually have to stop themselves from writing because otherwise we would get no sleep.

I will be updating all of you on the progress of this novel, the title of which is still top secret. I hope to be revealing a little bit of the storyline as the weeks and months may pass by. As I said before a novel is a tree of ideas, with words being their roots, and as such they must be tended and maintained over time. Here is a tiny peek at this up and coming novel from KJ Halliday:

Having a slightly melancholic mind has never bothered me as much as those who do not see sadness in the world around them. They laugh and chat as homeless men lay sleeping off their all night drinking and drug binge. They complain about taxes and money whilst never knowing what it is like to go without. May God have mercy on their souls.

Now being completely without context may be confusing, however I will go as far to say that this is just one of the thoughts of a great character I have been hoping to introduce to all of you for a number of years.
