I have been writing poetry for some time now and have built up more poetry online than I originally thought. I only really discovered this since I have been moving everything onto this new, sexy, website. So I wanted to share a few that may been missed in the move before I start to set up one of my first original series Scents Sand Censor Billy Tea which was in old fashioned book form.

Welcome to the New kjwriteleft.com for Writing and Photography

From the original series "Then I Passed". Which has been used for our new background and header image!
Welcome back everyone and as promised the new website is finally here and looking better than ever. I, KJ, have been working with kjwriteleft.com for some time (a few years at least) and have enjoyed every minute of developing and building up this website, so much so that I really wanted to give it a special new home finally.
Most of you would have visited the kjwriteleft.com/beta address which ended up the impromptu home of kjwriteleft.com but has been outlived by KJ Takes a Blog, which is the oldest surviving remnant of an original site I did here a few years back with a single poetry series which was later published. (And still available BTW lol)
I have grown a lot with everyone online and learned a lot about digital expression an the power it has. Many of us online are the disenfranchised, the disillusioned and the desperate. For many, the internet is the only good outlet they have in their life and for others it is their only chance to showcase their talents.
I am from a small country town originally and even though I live in Sydney now I like the idea that everyone can share their voice equally online. In fact, it is my goal over the next few years to help as many people as possible realise their ambitions particularly if they revolve around writing and creative expression.
I have, in conjunction with kjwriteleft.com and my own heart, released Refuge Island, a new online creative project that I hope many of you will take the time to get involved with particularly if you are from Australia. I welcome you all back into my website and back into my heart and hope you enjoy the artistic journey that I hope you will take.
